World Homeless Day, observed annually on October 10th, raises awareness and promotes action to address homelessness. It highlights the needs of people experiencing homelessness and provides opportunities for communities to support them. Organizations and individuals worldwide come together to advocate for change and implement lasting solutions.

To mark this significant day, Empowerment Plan is once again hosting Project 10. Project 10 represents both the date, October 10th, and our goal to impact 10 major cities by distributing 100 EMPWR Coats in each city, totaling 1,000 coats.

New this year, is the Project 10 Kick-Off Event. The week of October 7th, Empowerment Plan will host a kick-off event in Detroit, engaging local non-profit and corporate partners to provide resources, EMPWR coats, and meals to our unhoused neighbors.
